Today is Holy Thursday or otherwise known as Maundy Thursday. The word Maundy has several translations and theories ranging from latin mendicare, which means to beg, to the phrase rising from medieval customs.
But I’m sure you’re wondering what Holy Thursday represents, and I believe that’s the important part. Holy Thursday commemorates the Last Supper with Jesus Christ and the Apostles.
